Handstands are not about strength alone. They are about alignment, breath, and trust. In this 2 1/2 hour workshop, Elise Ingenito, handstand coach, will break the handstand down into clear, learnable steps: wrist preparation, shoulder stacking, core engagement, and the art of finding your line. You will learn drills you can take home and practice on your own, wherever you are on your journey.
This workshop is for students who are comfortable holding Downward Facing Dog and Plank Pose for several breaths. You do not need to kick up on your own yet. If you have wrist, shoulder, or neck injuries, high blood pressure, or glaucoma, please check with your doctor before joining us. Wall work and spotting will be offered so everyone can practice safely.
Come curious, come playful, and come ready to see the world from a new angle. You will leave stronger, steadier, and more confident, on your hands and on your feet.
To insure individual attention, we are limiting attendance to 12 students, so don’t wait to sign up.
Registration closes on November 6.
