Angela Strynkowski

"E-RYT 500, YACEP, teaching Vinyasa, Restorative, Gentle Yoga"

Angela has had the honor of practicing with many Yoga Masters including Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Tim Miller, Richard Freeman, James Butkevich, David Life, Sharon Gannon, Swami Bua, Amba Stapleton, and Don Stapleton of Nosara Institute. She has studied Sanskrit with Manorama from Luminous Soul Sanskrit Studies, and chanting with Bhakti Yogis, such as Krishna Das, Nina Rao, and Bhagavad Das.

Her teaching combines her experience and understanding of the Ashtanga Yoga System, Jivamukti Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Intergral Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, and Jnana Yoga. She encourages and challenges her students physically, mentally, and spiritually by allowing them to find their own way to Yoga. There is an element of focus and concentration, well-balanced with lightness, joy, and a sense of humor in all her classes.

Angela is going on her 20th year teaching Yoga. She has led numerous YogAdventure Retreats to Costa Rica, the Caribbean island of St. John., Upstate New York, and Sedona, Arizona.

With the awareness that food is medicine for the body and the soul, she has studied herbalism and nutrition. She believes Yoga and meditation are medicine for the body, mind, and soul and as such, Angela continues her studies, and shares that knowledge with her students, that they may find true wellness through Yoga.
